Kevin Stemp

Mr Price Film Verion

evin's delighted to join this wonderful cast and such an exciting project. "What's drawn me", he says, "is that this is a very true story, based in very real, if different times, and at the core is a passionate need for this to be heard and seen...and we are all fortunate enough to have been given that challenge".
As a character actor for over 20 years, Kevin brings a wealth of stage experience in his kit-bag. He's enjoyed roles from the tragedy of Shakespeare, the comedy of Restoration, right up to the intense physical theatre of forced confinement for terrorist-hostage portrayal. Indeed he enjoys a challenge and in 2017 recently performed as Actor 2 playing 10 characters in Moira Buffini's "Handbagged". 2 Times a winner of the National Operatic and Dramatic Association Best Actor Prize, East of England including President Nixon in the stage version of "Frost:Nixon", Kevin has more recently become involved in Film work. His most recent project has been to feature in the soon to be released historical film under the crafting of Director Mike Leigh - "The Peterloo Massacre". Kevin can be seen in April in the stage production of Hi-de-hi! where he'll play the fish-out-of-water Camp Manager, Jeffrey Fairbrother.
With Karlton's passion and guidance, Kevin hopes to make it all the way to the Blackpool Sands and promises, if this film leaves you feeling about it as passionate as he does, to bring you back a stick of Blackpool Rock!!
